For PKF WULF GRUPPE, I developed a reporting engine deeply integrated into Excel, serving as the central tool for generating annual financial statements. The system aggregates data from external sources like Caseware directly within the familiar Excel environment.
Through the add-in’s custom formulas, highly complex reports and tables can be dynamically and flexibly populated with data from external systems. This allows for the handling of special cases — for example, management report texts can be dynamically generated based on actual financial figures.
Another centerpiece is the intelligent templating engine: it automatically adjusts reports based on company type, ensuring maximum flexibility, massive time savings, and stable operation for a large user base over several years.
