For MFA Underwriting, I developed an automated distribution infrastructure. The core is a specialized Excel add-in (Office.js) combined with a custom-developed CMS that manages file delivery. Delivery and release are wired into the client’s CRM.
Access is passwordless — high security without another account to manage. The CMS authorizes downloads and reports on usage, and connected workflows continue automatically in the CRM.
The add-in now carries its own Claude engine: it uses Agent Skills and client-side tool use to analyse files where the user is and write the results straight into the Excel models. Because the raw data never passes through the context window, token consumption drops sharply.
The result is a fully automated SaaS sales channel directly within Microsoft Excel.
